Michael Paas joins Bridgehead International New York office
Michael Paas has joined Bridgehead International
as Senior VP, Bridgehead USA Inc. and will head up the company's
New York office.
Michael has extensive
experience in developing pricing, market access, and commercial
strategies for domestic (US) and international pharmaceutical,
biotech and medical device clients for both pipeline and in-line
products. Prior to joining Bridgehead, Michael was Principal,
Pricing and Market Access Strategy at IMS Consulting, formerly
known as Cambridge Pharma Consultancy. Before joining Cambridge,
he ran his own life science-focused strategic consultancy
and business development firm, which he formed after spending
several years as a management consultant with A.T. Kearney
in New York; Michael began his career in consulting at Deloitte
Touche Tohmatsu Int'l in Japan.
Michael's expertise spans a number of therapeutic areas including oncology and oncology supportive care, cardiovascular, respiratory, CNS, metabolism, antivirals and surgical supportive care. In addition to his extensive expertise in the US and Japanese markets, Michael has broad project experience in the major healthcare markets of Europe and Asia, as well as key emerging markets.
Michael holds a Bachelors degree in Natural Sciences/Biophysics from The Johns Hopkins University, a Masters in Public Health in Environmental Health Sciences from the Columbia School of Public Health and an MBA in Finance and International Business from the Columbia Business School. He speaks advanced Japanese, and is conversant in Chinese, French and German.
